Victoria qualified with a BA(Hons) in Performance Costume and Make-up at Worcester University. Upon graduating she began a career in the Media Make-up Industry. She has worked across all disciplines of make-up from Theatre, Fashion to TV and Film where she found her niche in prosthetics. She has worked for one of the UK leading prosthetic make-up artists Neill Gorton and his company Millennium FX. She has experience working both within a prosthetic workshop, as well as on-set applying make-ups for some fantastical and sometimes gory creatures for shows such as BBC Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures. With Victoria's make-up and TV experience her career evolved when she became a lecturer on a degree course in Media Make-up and she now has over 10 years' experience teaching at degree Level as well as designing course content for new course validations. Since joining SGS College in 2016 she has been able to pass on her expertise and delivers workshops and lectures on her specialism of prosthetic design and make-up application as well as wig making. She enjoys the creativity of her job and seeing students progress on to exciting and varied careers.
