If you are not an Irish national or UK student and do not have pre-settled or settled status you may need to apply for a Student Visa to enable you to study in the UK. SGS can sponsor a limited number of students looking to study a degree level course.

What do I need to supply after I've submitted my UCAS application?

  • A photocopy of your passport
  • A photocopy of your academic certificates or transcripts, Proof of your English language level

What are English language qualification do I require?

We accept a range of English language qualifications equivalent to an ILTETS 6.0 (in writing).

How much is tuition as an international and EU student?

The current International Tuition Fee is currently (2023/24) set at £13,250 per academic year.

International students will need to pay 50% of the course fee prior to the confirmation of acceptance is issued. The remaining fee can be paid in full or via a payment plan

When should I start my visa application?

Visa application will be available 6 months prior to the start of your course.

When should I apply for a course?

All our courses have a September start date and you should apply as early as possible to allow at least 6 months for your travel arrangements.  You will need to apply via the online University and Colleges Admissions System (UCAS).

Financial Support

HE International Support Bursary

The HE International Support Bursary offers financial support to our international (non-EU) students wishing to study with us full-time. If you normally reside outside the UK and the EU and are starting your undergraduate course in 2024-25 you could be eligible for this reduction in your tuition fees for the duration of your course. The value of the bursary reduces your tuition fees to £10,000 (per annum) for the duration of your course and will be automatically applied for eligible non EU students.

HE EU Support Bursary

The HE EU Support Bursary offers financial support to our European students wishing to study with us full-time. If you normally reside in the EU and are starting your undergraduate course in 2024-25 you could be eligible for this reduction in your tuition fees for the duration of your course. The value of the bursary brings your tuition fees in line with that of UK students for the duration of your course and will automatically applied for eligible EU students.
