SGS Higher Education & University Centre is proud to announce exceptional outcomes in the 2025 National Student Survey (NSS), achieving some of the highest student satisfaction ratings in the region.

This year’s survey results reflect our continued commitment to delivering high-quality teaching, robust academic support, and a strong emphasis on student wellbeing. SGS was recognised as one of the highest scoring institutions in the region for student satisfaction, further affirming our reputation as a leading provider of higher education in the South West.

Key highlights from the 2025 NSS results include:

Freedom of expression: 91%

Academic support: 90%

Assessment and feedback: 90%

Learning opportunities: 89%

Mental health and wellbeing support: 86%

Organisation and management: 85%

Learning resources: 83%

Student voice: 81%

Student union: 78%

These results demonstrate a consistently high level of satisfaction across key areas of the student experience. The particularly strong outcomes in teaching quality, academic support, and freedom of expression highlight the strength of SGS’s academic provision and our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
