Vodacom Bulls Bring Rugby Excellence to SGS Wise Campus Ahead of Bristol Bears Clash

The renowned South African rugby team, the Vodacom Bulls, visited our WISE Campus this week to use our facilities ahead of the much-anticipated clash against the Bristol Bears on Saturday, January 13th.

The Bulls' visit is not only a testament to the world-class facilities available at SGS but also highlights the opportunities and partnerships that we offer our students.

Jake White, Director of Rugby for the Vodacom Bulls and former international coach renowned for leading the Springboks to triumph in 2007, has expressed his determination for the upcoming game and his admiration for our facilities at SGS.

"I am blown away... Hopefully next time we come, we will be able to spend a bit more time here," - Jake White, Director of Rugby for the Vodacom Bulls.

The Bulls, hailing from Pretoria, South Africa, are no strangers to success. With an illustrious history that includes multiple Super Rugby titles, the team is known for its commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

The game against Bristol Bears on Saturday, January 13th, promises to be a thrilling spectacle. Rugby fans from both sides will converge to witness an intense battle on the field.

Over the past two years, SGS has been honoured to host renowned teams such as The Barbarians, Red Roses, Canada, and South Africa. This has provided students with a unique and invaluable opportunity to witness world-class players in action during their training sessions, further enhancing the reputation of SGS as a hub for excellence in rugby.

We are excited to announce that the Canterbury Crusaders, the best team in New Zealand will be training at SGS in February. It was a pleasure to meet the Vodacom Bulls squad during their visit to SGS and wish them the best of luck with their upcoming game.
