Kathryn started her career at Banham Zoo, Norfolk as a primate keeper working closely with a range of lemurs she then went on to become an assistant research coordinator in Madagascar leading teams of volunteers in biodiversity sampling all taxa. She started teaching the BTEC in Tropical Habitat Conservation which lead to her to a position in the education department at Colchester Zoo. From here she started teaching animal management in further education and has programme led level 2 and level 3 courses at Bath College and Wiltshire College before moving across to Bristol Zoological Gardens to module lead on the FdSc Zoological Management course.
