Vera Boele-Keimer

Vera's practical work is concerned with the materiality of painting, in particular the relationship between surface and support. Her practice questions boundaries of categories such as drawing/ sculpture/ painting and addresses the balance between system-based methodologies and intuition. Her work has been widely exhibited in group and individual exhibitions both in the UK and abroad and her work is held in public and private collections. Vera has many years of teaching experience and currently contributes to contextual and studio-based modules across the FDA and BA (Hons) Fine Art programmes at Bristol School of Art.
