Australia A Trains at SGS College’s WISE Campus

SGS College was proud to host Australia A for two weeks at the WISE Campus, where the team utilised the college’s exceptional facilities. The visit provided an opportunity for SGS to demonstrate why its facilities and staff are renowned for supporting elite-level athletes.

Australia A staff praised the campus for its professionalism and state-of-the-art resources.

Rob Sieb, Head Coach of Australia A, shared his thoughts on the experience:
"The helpful staff and superb facilities at SGS enabled our programme to maintain a focus on high performance."

Forwards Coach Zane Hilton echoed this sentiment, emphasising how the campus environment supported the team’s preparations:
"When touring, having access to world-class facilities and a safe environment is critical to a team's success. At SGS, the welcoming nature of the community, coupled with the ability to move between facilities within such close proximity, made the training day flow perfectly."

Brendan Whelan, Head of Athletic Performance, highlighted the dedication of the SGS team:
"The facilities at SGS are ideal for a traveling high-performance team. The staff couldn't have been better. Ian was outstanding, assisting with our requirements prior to arrival and on a daily basis once we arrived."

The WISE Campus is equipped with top-tier training facilities, including high-performance pitches, recovery suites, and advanced gym spaces. Its close-knit layout allows for seamless transitions between activities.

Hosting Australia A demonstrates SGS College’s commitment to excellence, not only for the elite teams that visit but also for its students, who benefit from training and learning in the same world-class environment.

As Australia A continues their journey, SGS College is proud to have played a part in their preparation and wishes them every success in their upcoming matches.
